Picture
Johnny Talon and the Goddess of Love and War is an adult surreal fantasy about love, addiction, and identity drawing heavily from noir fiction.

The spirits, sorcerers and truly desperate who reside on San Francisco's hills know Johnny Talon can solve cases no one else can solve. A bit of an eccentric with an uncanny ability to find truth through dream quests, he follows hot clues, dreams, and non-sequiturs in his relentless quest to provide justice for his clients.

After a desperate woman who is fleeing a sorcerer shows up in Johnny Talon's apartment, he embarks on a dangerous investigation into who this sorcerer is and why he wants to kidnap his client. when the body count starts climbing and the attacks on him become more intense, Talon realizes how high the stakes must be. The key to the entire mystery lies in the unraveling of who his client is, something she doesn't know herself. The things a gumshoe does to pay the rent.
