Lo Mantang

Picture
THE MYSTERIOUS LAND WHICH INSPIRED SHANGRALA
Lo Mantang remains a land shrouded in mystery.  It is in a remote valley in the Himalayas along what used to be the spice route.  There people knod to say no, shake their heads to say yes, and stick their tongues out at you to indicate respect.

Local myth tells of a unicorn which saved the Kingdom from the Mongols.
